Glenda Swanson
Glenda Swanson has many years of experience in the construction and cabinet industry. She has learned through the supervision and management of her own prior cabinet and remodeling business about structure and various mechanical aspects involved in handling large and small remodels. She has designed kitchen, large bars, baths, libraries, and offices, plus other unique places in many large multi-million dollar homes. The projects she enjoys most are the kitchen remodels which she finds to be the most challenging because of the constraints which exist in the space. She has the ability to visualize and the expertise to take an ordinary kitchen and turn it into a showplace. When designing, Glenda believes in function before form: when looking at a project, first make it functional and then make it pretty. Glenda majored in history and math at the University of Illinois which set forth a good foundation for the cabinet and design business. She has been published in many publications and won numerous awards from various cabinet manufacturers and new home cavalcades.  When her four children were growing up, she followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a very capable cook, mainly out of necessity. In the many years of cooking for her family she learned the need for function in the kitchen. The first kitchen she designed was her own. Through the years she has developed an expansive referral business, actually designing kitchens for the same customers numerous times in Illinois and other states. She has always enjoyed the cabinet industry, both remodels and new construction, because the work is so varied and the customers are interesting.

Gayle Safford
Design is Gayle’s passion. Happiness to Gayle is creating a space that brings joy to her clients’ lives, both visually AND functionally. With a degree in Interior Design, Gayle owned her own business before branching into kitchen and bath design.

Gayle believes in looking at the entire picture of harmonizing cabinetry into the home:

  • Start with a wish list.
  • Measure the space.
  • Find a focal point.
  • Add Geneva Cabinet Gallery’s quality, top-notch design and craftsmanship, and prepare to have your expectations exceeded.

Gayle lives in St. Charles with her husband, daughter and Labrador, Lilly. Her spare time is spent experimenting with recipes, working in her gardens, walking Lilly and thinking of YOUR next home remodeling project!

Asta Naktinyte
Asta believes that everyone deserves a beautiful space to live and share with friends and family. Asta is from Lithuania and has been in this country for 12 years. She hold two Bachelor degrees, one in Textiles Technology from the Siauliai University, Lithuania and another from the Illinois Institute of Art in Interior Design. She is proficient in CAD and has worked for Geneva Cabinet Gallery for the past year as a design/draft/support person. Her attention to detail and creativity has been a great benefit to the whole staff. Her favorite part about the work is putting the many parts and pieces together to achieve the final results, thinking outside of the box to achieve a beautiful, functional kitchen within the confines of existiing rooms and working with the different personalities involved with these projects. Design has always been her passion but she loves to travel, learn new cultures, biking and walking in the woods.
